Trelay Farm offers excellent quality self-catering accommodation in 5 cottages and 2 lovely yurts. Please see the specific page from the drop-down menu for pictures, prices and availability of each individual cottage.

Trelay is situated in rolling countryside with views along a wooded valley to the sea. There is a profusion of wild flowers and wildlife in the farm’s woodland and tree-lined banks. It is a working farm with lots to see including pigs, chickens, sheep, cows and various renewable energy projects. The farm grows fruit and vegetables following sustainable and organic principles.

Beaches – 2 miles from the coast at Crackington Haven with a lovely little beach and pub/cafes overlooking the sea. Surf equipment hire is also available here. We are also 4 miles from the sandy beach at Widemouth Bay. This famous beach is renowned for good surfing and has lovely rockpools and geological features as well.

Pubs – Old Wainhouse Inn pub/restaurant are 2/3 of a mile away at Wainhouse Corner on the A39 (very walkable on a few pints), where you can also find a post office and general store. The Coombe Barton in the Haven offers spectacular sunsets, and the Bay View Inn specialises in plate bending racks-of-ribs!!

Bude, 8 miles distant, provides all services including a supersize soft-play, indoor wave pool and sea pools, and superstores. Places of interest nearby include Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac, Padstow and Newquay. Bodmin Moor, The Camel Trail and Sustrans National Cycle Route 3 provide excellent walking and cycling opportunities.


Laundry room facilities are available for cottages and yurts. A cot is available by prior arrangement. A games room with pool table and darts is available for use. Bicycle hire, guided walks, evening meals, grocery shopping, cream teas and baby sitting service are all available by prior arrangement. We may have fresh farm produce available to purchase, too. Wifi. A community bbq/fire pit is open to all to join in with any festivities. Your kids can use the communal trampoline and discover the rope swing in the woods.

From the A39 Atlantic Highway between Bude and Camelford: At Wainhouse Corner, take the turning towards Crackington Haven and St Gennys Church, directly opposite the Old Wainhouse Inn. The entrance to Trelay Farm is 2/3 of a mile along this road on the right. Follow the drive down to the courtyard and ring the bell at the red farmhouse door to be shown to your accomodation.


Trelay Farm is just north of the red circle on the map! Coming by public transport? Best connection is to Exeter railway station followed by the X9 bus to Bude and 595 Bude to Trelay.
